Oppo has released the Android 16-based stable ColorOS 16 update for the Oppo Find N2 Flip. This update follows the K13 Turbo devices and makes the Find N2 Flip the third Oppo device to receive the major update this month.
This week, we shared Oppo’s ColorOS 16 rollout plan for this month, which included four models. With the Find N2 Flip now receiving the update, Oppo has now released the ColorOS 16 update for three devices. However, the update is currently rolling out in India and may take some time to reach other regions.
Just like the update for other devices, the Find N2 Flip users can now apply for the official ColorOS 16 update as a release candidate. After registering for the update, users can install the update manually. In a few weeks, the same update will be rolled out to all users, even those who haven’t manually applied for it.
If you own an Oppo Find N2 Flip and want to experience the official ColorOS 16 right away, follow these steps to apply for the update. Ensure your device is running the latest detectable version, CPH2437_16.0.1.310(EX01), before applying.
- Go to Settings > System update > Software update.
- Tap on the top of the page > tap icon at the top right corner > Beta program > Release candidate, and then Apply for the official version.
- Now you can check for the update and install it.
Since the ColorOS 16 is a major update, it weighs over 3GB. Therefore, make sure to download the update over Wi-Fi. Additionally, before installing the update, make sure to back up your data.
If you are unaware of the features and changes introduced in ColorOS 16, you can expect new features such as a major design overhaul, improved performance, smoother animations, full-screen AOD, resize folder and app icons on home screen, AI portrait glow in photo editing, upgraded O+ connect, and a plethora of new features and updated system apps.
