LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight: Release Date
This fun new LEGO Batman-themed game is set to be released on the 29th of May 2026. This release date was revealed via the Heroes and Villains trailer during the Game Awards show. LEGO Batman: Legacy of The Dark Knight: Developer and Publisher
With no surprise to anyone, Warner Bros Games is the publisher for this brand new LEGO Batman game. TT Games is the developer for this game, which is a subsidiary of the Warner Bros Games company. The same team that has been behind some other LEGO-themed games, and also games like Mortal Kombat 1.

Let’s now take a look at what you can expect from the brand new LEGO Batman game for 2026. As expected, you are out there to fight against the big bad villains of Gotham City. On your journey to fight against the villains, you will be teaming up with heroes such as Robin, Jim Gordon, Catwoman, Nightwing, and Batgirl. Across Rogue’s Gallery, you will come across famous villains from the DC universe, such as The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, and Poison Ivy.
The new LEGO Batman game brings a brand-new combat system- never seen in the previous LEGO Batman-themed games. The new combat system adds new fluid combos, new stealth techniques, and detective skills that will help you scan the streets of Gotham City to look for crimes. There are a number of rewards, challenges, and secrets for you to unlock, all while exploring popular landmarks such as Arkham Asylum, Wayne Tower, and Ace Chemicals.

Even through the game releases only in the month of May, fans of the game can pre-order the game right now. There are two editions of the game available for you to pre-order: the base game and the Deluxe Edition.
The standard base edition of the game will cost you $69.99, and the Deluxe Edition will cost you $69.99. When you pre-order the base game, you will get access to the Batsuit inspired by The Dark Knight Returns comics.
