While most of the Android gaming landscape is dominated by gacha games and freemium titles, it’s worth noting that passionate developers every now and then manage to bring some more serious gaming action, either in the form of console ports of beloved indie titles. That in mind, “Sea of Stars,” an acclaimed role-playing game from Sabotage Studio is finally headed to Android soon.
Originally launched for PC and consoles, Sea of Stars features good-ole turn-based RPG action similar to the likes of classics like Chrono Trigger, for example. The game’s visuals also pay homage to 32-bit games from the 90s and 2000s, alongside a story that’s pretty solid all throughout. The game will be published by Playdigious, which also brought forth titles like Dead Cells for Android gamers.
The game is up for pre-registration at the moment, with full availability coming on April 7 this year. You can check it out using this link.
