The Android 16-based OriginOS 6 is now available for the Vivo T3 Ultra via trial program. Many users have reportedly received the update in recent days. It’s a trial version that requires manual registration, and the stable update may take some time to be released.
Vivo brings OriginOS globally with OriginOS 6 update, replacing the Funtouch OS. Earlier, OriginOS was exclusive to China, but due to high user demand, it is finally available to everyone.
For users switching from Funtouch OS, OriginOS offers a completely different experience, with a major redesign and significant performance improvements. Vivo is currently rolling out the OriginOS 6 update to eligible devices globally. While some devices have already received the update, many more are still waiting. The Vivo T3 Ultra is expected to receive the official update soon, as its trial version is now out.
The trial version of OriginOS 6 for the Vivo T3 Ultra is available with build number PD2362GF_EX_A_16.2.6.10.W30 and weighs over 4GB. As mentioned earlier, OriginOS 6 is a big jump for users coming from Funtouch OS.
OriginOS 6 introduces a fresh new Origin design that’s entirely different from Funtouch. It features smooth animations, AI lightning, a redesigned media player, enhanced lock screen customization, and many other features. If you own Vivo T3 Ultra and want to experience OriginOS 6 before others, you can apply for the trial version and download the update. To do this, go to Settings > About Phone > System updates > version Trial > Trial version > download and install.
Note: Make sure to backup your important data. No it will not reset your device, but still taking a backup before update is recommended.
