Xiaomi 13T Pro and Poco F5 owners across the globe are reporting that a HyperOS 3 update is now being pushed. Interestingly, this isn’t the first HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 13T Pro. The device received it more than a month ago, but the software was quickly rolled back due to random bootloops and reboots.
Hopefully, the issue has been resolved by now, and the new HyperOS 3 update based on Android 16 is stable enough for users to install it. If you still haven’t received a notification about the update, you can check manually via the Settings menu. Of course, the 13T Pro receives the HyperOS 3 based on Android 16.
The Poco F5, on the other hand, is getting only the HyperOS 3 overhaul without the underlying Android 16 OS, meaning it’s based on Android 15. That’s because the Poco F5 has already received two major OS updates since its release, so Xiaomi is now seeding only its custom skin on top without the latest Android.
