If you’re a Google AI Pro subscriber, then you’re in luck—Google recently announced that it’s adding a handful of new perks for premium subscriptions, including a major storage upgrade for Google AI Pro members. According to Shimrit Ben-Yair, Google’s lead for Google Photos, Google One, and AI Subscriptions, AI Pro subscribers now get a storage boost from 2TB to 5TB at no additional cost.
The update also brings more AI features to the Google Workspace suite—Gemini in Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive is now able to pull context across files, emails, and the web. This allows the AI to connect data points and provide more cohesive insights directly within a user’s workflow.
Additionally, users in the United States will get access to new AI Overviews feature, which allows subscribers to ask specific questions about their inbox to receive instant summaries. There’s also an advanced Proofread tool that offers grammar and style suggestions. Google is also extending “agentic help” to Chrome with the introduction of Chrome auto-browse for AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the U.S.
Finally, the company is packing in more services into its high-end tiers by including Google Home Premium with AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions at no extra charge.
