The Xiaomi 18 series is not expected to launch for another five months, but rumors about its key specs have been coming in for a while now. The latest additions are a set of renders for the Xiaomi 18 Pro’s back and its all-new AI-button. Based on the image, the 18 Pro will once again feature a triple camera setup and a rear display just like the Xiaomi 17 Pro.
Now, these are early renders and may not reflect the final design, but they are consistent with previous reports which suggest the rear screens are here to stay. The more interesting bit is the dedicated AI button, which will presumably be located on the side of the device.
According to the post, the AI button will be customizable, allowing users to launch AI “in any situation” and also control smart home devices and even compatible Xiaomi EVs. A previous report suggested that Xiaomi will bring an “AI-powered smart window”, which likely refers to additional AI features for the rear screen.
Xiaomi 18 Pro is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display, dual 200MP sensors for its main and 3x telephoto cameras alongside a 7,000+mAh battery, wireless charging and a full waterproof rating.
