According to a new rumor from China’s Digital Chat Station, Oppo is currently working on a mid-range A-series device with a whopping 10,000 mAh battery. The yet-unnamed phone will also allegedly have a large flat LTPS OLED screen with “1.5K” resolution.
Unfortunately, the leaker hasn’t mentioned the exact chipset it will be using, just that the chip is built on a 4nm process. Given the mid-range nature of the A-series, it’s clearly not going to be a high end SoC. People on Weibo are speculating it might be the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, or a Snapdragon 6 series SoC, or perhaps the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 or 7400.
Oppo A6s Pro for reference
We assume the next few leaks and rumors about this phone will include the specific chipset Oppo has chosen. Anyway, back to the details that have been outed today. The device will sport a plastic body and will start at around CNY 2,000, which right now translates into approximately $295.
