Introduction
Infinix’s GT series have matured quite well since 2023 and the new Infinix GT 50 Pro is an easily likable gaming phone for its design, features, and pricing.
There are fewer gaming-oriented smartphones each year. Asus was once the go-to maker for mobile gaming gear, but there hasn’t been a new ROG Phone since 2024. Nubia is still pushing new RedMagic phones, but even if cool, their prices have become quite steep. This is where the Infinix GT 50 Pro comes into play.
The new GT 50 Pro introduces a new design with even more advanced RGB lights, visible liquid cooling, and upgraded shoulder triggers. The phone is still IP64-rated for dust and splash resistance.
The GT 50 Pro relies on a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with 1208 x 2644 pixels, 10-bit color depth, 144Hz refresh rate, and 330Hz touch sampling. The phone utilizes the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chipset with all big-core CPU design, UFS 4.1 storage and 12GB LPDDR5X RAM.

The camera department is the least impressive part of the GT 50 Pro with a 50MP OIS primary, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 13MP selfie imager. You can use the dual triggers to map multiple camera app features and turn this average setup into a pro-grade one, at least in terms of control.
The GT 50 Pro is powered by a 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging. Bypass wireless charging is available, too, but you will need GT Magcharge Cooler accessory to enable it.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 16 with XOS 16, and it will receive 5 major Android updates down the road.

Unboxing the Infinix GT 50 Pro
The Infinix GT 50 Pro ships inside a cool-looking box with a nicely textured surface that feels frosty when handled.

The box contains the phone, a 45W power adapter, a USB cable, and a transparent case with magnetic attachment support.
If you want to squeeze the maximum from your new GT 50 Pro, you might want to get the Infinix’s new MagCharge Cooler 2.0 accessory.

The cooler attaches magnetically to the back of the case and can deliver both 15W of wireless charging and 12W of thermoelectric cooling (TEC). You can also enable wireless bypass charging, which will deliver power directly to the motherboard while gaming.
