Ericsson has announced the appointment of Sandile Dhlomo as Head of Ericsson South Africa, effective 1 September 2025. He will report to Majda Lahlou Kassi, Vice President and Head of Ericsson West and Southern Africa, while also serving on the leadership team for the Ericsson EMEA region.
With more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and digital technologies, Dhlomo has held senior leadership roles across sub-Saharan Africa, including in Algeria, Nigeria, Kenya and Ghana. His appointment is expected to strengthen Ericsson’s local operations, drive innovation, and reinforce partnerships within the South African market.
Ericsson has maintained a long-standing presence in the country, supporting digital transformation across both telecommunications and enterprise sectors. Dhlomo’s leadership is set to accelerate these efforts, aligning with the company’s broader #AfricaInMotion vision for sustainable digital growth.
