Vivo has officially announced the next OriginOS release based on Android 16, OriginOS 6, in China and plans to announce it globally on October 15. While the global launch is still pending, most of the information about the release, including features, improvements, eligible devices, and the rollout plan, has already been made public.
OriginOS 6 appears to be a copy of iOS 26, featuring a liquid glass-like design and many other features. Even though it is inspired by iOS 26, Vivo and iQOO users can expect a plethora of new features. However, the availability of the update may vary depending on your device and region.
