OnePlus began its Android 16 and OxygenOS 16 journey last month. Since then, the company has released the update for several devices, with more planned to receive it this month. Here’s a list of OnePlus devices scheduled to receive Android 16-based OxygenOS 16 in December.
OnePlus has already shared a complete official roadmap for OxygenOS 16, which confirms the devices eligible for the update along with the schedule. If you don’t recall or haven’t seen the official roadmap, you can check out this month’s schedule in this article.
In December, a total of six OnePlus phones, including four Nord devices, are planned to receive the Android 16 update.
- OnePlus 11 5G
- OnePlus 11R 5G
- OnePlus Nord 5
- OnePlus Nord CE 5
- OnePlus Nord 4
- OnePlus Nord 3 5G
OnePlus has already commenced this month’s rollout. Out of the six devices mentioned, Nord 4, Nord CE 5, Nord 5, OnePlus 11 has already started receiving the stable Oxygen OS 16 update. The remaining models will receive the update soon. The update availability may vary by devices.
Android 16 doesn’t feel like a big upgrade without Material 3 Expressive. However, OnePlus’s latest custom OS, OxygenOS 16, packs several new features and changes. If your device is eligible for the OxygenOS 16 update, you can expect improved animations, new and updated AI features, creative playground, more customization tools for lock screen and home screen, Touch to Share, and more. To ensure you experience the OxygenOS 16 as soon as it’s available for your device. Regularly check for updates in the Settings. Also, make sure your phone is up to date and has enough storage for the update. Additionally, take a backup of your device before installing the update.
