Amazon’s Spring Deal Days are the first major sales event from the retailer for this year. Here we will focus on tablets and smartwatches, but we will also have a look at smartphone deals soon.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Tab S10 FE+ are 10.9” and 13.1” tablets, respectively, with 90Hz IPS LCDs. Both are powered by the Exynos 1580 chipset and have expandable storage. The smaller slate has an 8,000mAh battery, while the larger one has a 10,090mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10+ has a 12.4” display, a 120Hz OLED. It features a high-end (though now two generations old) Dimensity 9300+ chipset, expandable storage and a 10,090mAh battery. This one has full DeX support, including over USB-C 3.2 video out.
The Galaxy Tab A11 is Samsung’s new cheap tablet. It’s a small 8.7” slate with a 90Hz LCD and a Helio G99 chipset. The battery is quite small at 5,100mAh and it only supports 15W charging.
The Xiaomi Pad 8 and Pad 8 Pro are two 11.2” tablets with 144Hz 12-bit IPS LCDs. The main difference is in the chipset – a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 for the vanilla model and a Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Pro. Note: the storage is not expandable.
There are other differences too, e.g. the Pro has a 50MP main and a 32MP selfie camera compared to just 13MP main and 8MP selfie for the vanilla model, but you don’t buy a tablet for its cameras. Both tablets have the same 9,200mAh battery, except the Pro has slightly faster charging (67W vs. 45W).
The Redmi Pad 2 and Redmi Pad 2 Pro are different sizes – 11” and 12.1”, respectively, with 9,000mAh and 12,000mAh batteries. Both use IPS LCDs and both have expandable storage. The Pro model has a better quality LCD with 120Hz (vs. 90Hz) refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The vanilla model is powered by the Helio G100 Ultra chipset, while the Pro gets the more capable Snapdragon 7s Gen 4.
Moving on to smartwatches, we start with the new Apple Watch Series 11 model. It has a large 1.96” rectangular display and is fairly thin at 9.7mm. It has ECG and a depth gauge down to 6m.
The Apple Watch SE 3 was updated at the same time (September last year), but it’s an older model at heart. It has a 1.78” display and lacks advanced health features like ECG. There’s no diving gauge either.
The Apple Watch Ultra – the very first one, not the 2 or the 3 – costs less than the Series 11. This also has ECG and is certified for diving down to 40m. And it’s not like the Ultra 3 has that many upgrades.
Over on the Wear OS side of things, the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic brought back the rotating bezel along with a “squircle” design. It has ECG and a blood pressure monitor.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch8 is the same thing sans the rotating bezel. This allows the watch to have a bigger display (1.47” vs. 1.34”) in a smaller body (44mm). In fact, the 40mm Watch8 matches the Watch8 Classic screen size at 1.34”. Even better, the vanilla model is thinner at just 8.6mm compared to 10.6mm for the Classic.
Samsung retouched the Galaxy Watch Ultra in 2025 by doubling the storage to 64GB and adding a new band color. Otherwise, it’s still the same Ultra as it was in 2024.
If you are not a fan of the squircle design, you can get the older Galaxy Watch7. It has a round body that is 1.1mm thicker than the Watch8. It has a 1.5” display on the 44mm model and a 1.3” display on the 40mm one. The Watch7 and Watch8 are powered by the same Exynos W1000 chipset and both support ECG and blood pressure monitoring.
The Google Pixel Watch 3 is an older model – unfortunately, the Watch 4 isn’t part of the Spring Deal Days. Anyway, this watch comes in 45mm (1.4” display) and 41mm (1.2”) sizes. Both have an ECG sensor.
The Xiaomi Watch 5 is a Wear OS device with a 47mm stainless steel case and a 1.54” display. It’s on the chunky side measuring 12.3mm thick, but at least it has a massive 930mAh Si/C battery – for comparison, the Galaxy Watch Ultra has a 590mAh battery. And it also has an ECG sensor.
If you just want notifications and basic health tracking, the CMF Watch 3 Pro is a sub-£100 option with a 1.43” display (and a 47mm case diameter). It’s thick at 14.4mm, but unlike the Xiaomi, it only has a small 350mAh battery.
