In an official blog post, OpenAI announced that it has begun testing ads in ChatGPT for free and Go users in the US. The ads will be shown only to logged-in adult users, while users under the age of 18 will not see them. ChatGPT users with Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Education subscriptions will not see any ads. OpenAI also confirmed that the ads will not influence the answers in a chat.
