Lazy loading is not a new concept by far. The idea is simple – defer loading some of the heavier elements of a page until the lighter ones are loaded. That way, the user can start interacting with the content sooner rather than later. Since 2019, Chrome and Chromium-based browsers have had lazy loading for images and iframes. Both types of elements will only start loading once the user scrolls close to them on the page. Google has announced that it is currently testing expanded lazy loading that also includes video and audio elements. That is to say, multimedia content…
Physical AI is emerging as one of the next major industrial battlegrounds, with Japan’s push driven more by necessity than anything else. With workforces shrinking and pressure mounting to sustain productivity, companies are increasingly deploying AI-powered robots across factories, warehouses, and critical infrastructure. Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry said in March 2026 that it aims to build a domestic physical AI sector and capture a 30% share of the global market by 2040. The country already holds a strong position in industrial robotics, with Japanese manufacturers accounting for about 70% of the global market in 2022, according to…
A new report from China is confident that the upcoming iPhone Fold will feature a 3D printed hinge to help bring the crease on its folding display to a minimum. This is the first time that we’re seeing specific details about 3D printing used on the iPhone Fold’s hinge, which has so far been rumored to also feature liquid metal as well as dual-layer glass. Oppo Find N6 features a Titanium Flexion Hinge created using 3D Liquid Printing technology It wouldn’t exactly be a breakthrough as Oppo’s Find N6 already pioneered this approach on its second-generation Titanium Flexion hinge. Oppo…
The problem is that agencies often lack the staff and resources to do thorough reviews, which means the whole system is leaning on the claims of the cloud companies and the assessments of the third-party firms they pay to evaluate them. Under the current vision, critics say, FedRAMP has lost the plot. “FedRAMP’s job is to watch the American people’s back when it comes to sharing their data with cloud companies,” said Mill, the former GSA official, who also co-authored the 2024 White House memo. “When there’s a security issue, the public doesn’t expect FedRAMP to say they’re just a…
This Sunday marks the 5-year anniversary of LG officially exiting the smartphone business. That wasn’t quite the end of the story – the company wouldn’t stop making phones until the end of May 2021. However, on April 5, 2021, the company officially confirmed that its board of directors had approved the decision to shift focus away from phones. LG sold off its remaining phone inventory with a promise to put out software updates for its final models. And it did – the LG Wing received Android 13 in April 2023 (it originally launched with Android 10). At the same time,…

In an email, Aikido researcher Charlie Eriksen said the canister was taken down Sunday night and is no longer available. “It wasn’t as reliable/untouchable as they expected,” Eriksen wrote. “But for a while, it would have wiped systems if infected.” Like previous TeamPCP malware, CanisterWorm, as Aikido has named the malware, targets organizations’ CI/CD pipelines used for rapid development and deployment of software. “Every developer or CI pipeline that installs this package and has an npm token accessible becomes an unwitting propagation vector, Eriksen wrote. “Their packages get infected, their downstream users install those, and if any of them have…
The move, recently proposed by influential researcher Scott Aaronson, is a complete turnaround from the strict 90-day disclosure policies Google’s Project Zero pioneered two decades ago and an accepted norm that has driven security research for even longer. Other researchers are already criticizing the lack of details. “I think it’s alarmist to claim an immediate security risk from an algorithm that requires a computer that doesn’t exist,” Matt Green, a professor at Johns Hopkins University who studies cryptography, said. “Given that the stakes here are so low (for the same reason) I’d classify it as less harmful, and more on…
It has been just a couple of weeks since the first discounts for the Galaxy S26 series and now we’re seeing even bigger price cuts. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A57 and A37 launched earlier this week, but the Poco series is offering some stiff competition to both A and S phones. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with 512GB storage is now €1,185, which is €45 less than it was two weeks ago. Since then, we have published a comparison with the S25 Ultra and an S26 Ultra vs. iPhone 17 Pro Max article. The Samsung Galaxy S26+ was absent…
