This week on Uncanny Valley, hosts Brian Barrett and Zoë Schiffer discuss the highlights from Nvidia’s annual developer conference, and why Tesla recently got in trouble with some of its most loyal fans online. That’s where my AirPods Max 2 vs. AirPods Max guide steps in.I had plenty of good things to say about the MacBook Neo, but the Max 2 tells a different story. The headphones sound good,…
According to a new report from Reuters today, Samsung Electronics plans to invest KRW 110 trillion, or approximately $73 billion, in research and development and facilities “in a bid to lead the semiconductor industry in artificial intelligence”. In a corporate filing, Samsung also revealed that it is pursuing “meaningful mergers and acquisitions” in areas like robotics, medical technology, automotive electronics, and air conditioning solutions. To put the number in perspective, Samsung says it invested a total of KRW 90.4 trillion, or approximately $60 billion, in R&D last year. Getting more use out of the spent fuel could cut down on both waste and the need to mine new material, but the process is costly, complicated, and not 100% effective. France has the largest and most established reprocessing program in the world today. The La Hague plant in northern France has the capacity to reprocess about 1,700 tons of spent fuel…
