Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold 5G The slimmer profile of the Galaxy Z TriFold 2 would be courtesy of a new hinge mechanism being developed by Samsung. However, the TriFold 2 won’t be the only foldable that will benefit from it, as the source claims that a version of this new hinge with technical…
“There’s no blocker for your creativity anymore,” says Vermeeren, who is now also investing in Schematik. “That’s why I’m so excited about it and building stuff constantly.”He’s not the only one. On Thursday, Anthropic engineer Felix Rieseberg posted on X to announce that Anthropic has now enabled “a little Bluetooth API for makers and developers, allowing you to build hardware devices that interact with Claude.” He also shared a picture and a GitHub link for a device that looks very similar to Vermeeren’s Clawy, though Rieseberg and Anthropic did not reply to WIRED’s request for comment about whether it was…
At a trendy venue near the San Francisco pier, Sam Altman’s verification project World celebrated its next evolution and rapid expansion of its ambitions. And it’s starting with Tinder. Following the very successful recent release of its Core Ultra Series 3 processors (codenamed Panther Lake), today Intel is unveiling their lower-end counterparts in the Core Series 3 – notice the distinct lack of “Ultra”. These are meant to go in cheaper laptops, and Intel says it’s aiming them at those consumers and small businesses that are on a five-year upgrade cycle. Compared to a five-year-old PC powered by the Core i7-1185G7, these processors deliver up to 47% better single-thread performance, up to 41% better multi-thread performance, and up to 2.8 times better GPU AI performance. The Core Series 3…
Planning a big night out at Madison Square Garden? Have fun—but don’t say we didn’t warn you.A WIRED investigation this week revealed new details about the private surveillance state instituted by MSG owner Jim Dolan and his head of security, John Eversole. According to court records and WIRED sources, visitors to the Garden and some other Dolan-owned venues have been subjected to face recognition, social media monitoring, in-person surveillance, and more. The US government’s warrantless wiretap powers hit a roadblock this week. Jack Zhang was 34 years old, three and a half years into running a startup, and sitting across from one of the most powerful investors in Silicon Valley. Michael Moritz of Sequoia had invited him to his home — a place with, Zhang recalls, a couple of floors and a view straight to the Golden Gate Bridge — to make the case for selling. Stripe wanted to buy Airwallex for $1.2 billion. At the time, the Melbourne company had around $2 million in annualized revenue. The math was almost pretty irresistable: a revenue multiple somewhere near 600 times. Patrick Collison,…
Last month, Reuters reported that the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) – a statutory authority under the Indian government’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) – had privately proposed in January that smartphone makers be required to pre-install its Aadhaar app on their devices. Now, Reuters reports that the Indian government has dropped the proposal following security and cost concerns raised by the smartphone brands. The Aadhaar app contains the Aadhaar card details of an Indian resident, including a 12-digit unique identification number, birth date, residential address, and is tied to the individual’s fingerprints and iris scans. UIDAI…

The Realme C81 is coming soon, according to a new report, and it apparently could be a rebranded Realme Note 80. That device launched last month, by the way.
