Some up-and-comers are pushing to make agents that can actually place wagers instead of just supplying tips, but the field is off to a rough start. Tom Fleetham formerly worked as the head of business development for a blockchain platform called Zilliqa that experimented with an AI gambling agent called Ava, focused on picking horse race winners. “She had good analysis, good results,” he says. “Where it got hard was actually trying to place the bets.”The company couldn’t get Ava to reliably place bets using crypto wallets in a timely fashion, Fleethem claims. “It took forever,” Fleetham says. “We gave…

OnePlus has been in the tablet market for a few years now and had a hit last year with the OnePlus Pad 2, which I was a big fan of and still use to this day as my go-to tablet. On the OnePlus website, you can now see some details about the next tablet from OnePlus that is coming in a few days’ time. This is the OnePlus Pad 3, and it will be a step up from the previous device in two key areas if what I have learned transpires to be true. The first area of improvement is…

If you don’t see one on the Gboard virtual QWERTY, long-press the comma key and slide to the gear icon.Tap the gear icon and go to Preferences…

While doing my weekly shopping at Tesco recently, I noticed a great new deal from Tesco Mobile on the newly launched Honor 200 Lite. What makes this pay-monthly contract especially appealing is the reduced price for Clubcard holder. For the past few months, I’ve been on a Tesco Mobile SIM-only contract myself. For just £16 a month, I get unlimited texts and calls, 25GB of data with free EU roaming, and an extra 200 Clubcard points added to my account each month (this is only available on a Sim Only deal). Plus, there are no price increases until mid-2026, which…
Turn your family into anime characters and more with Google’s RemixThe first thing you need to do is open the Google Photos app. If you have an Android device, Google Photos is probably your default photo gallery app. You probably know why, but if you’re a newbie to the world of smartphones, Google owns Android, which it purchased in 2005. As an aside, Android originally was developed for BlackBerry-style handsets with buttons and keyboards. When Steve Jobs put on a master class in new product announcements in January 2007 with the unveiling of the iPhone, Android was quickly changed to…

OnePlus Pad 3 and Accessories Today, OnePlus has just taken the covers off the new OnePlus Pad 3, with the intention of this being the tablet of 2025. A big claim, and one that we will be able to find out more about when we get our review unit in. For now, though, let’s have a look at the main headlines. Firstly there is a new design to contend with and as part of this design the screen has grown a tad from 12.1″ on the OnePlus Pad 2 to 13.2″ on the OnePlus Pad 3 This results in a…
A new Google Messages bug has popped up, and while it’s mostly harmless, it’s kind of annoying. The bug has replicated the Google Messages icon, so there are now two app icons in the app launcher’s suggestions and app drawer. The two icons are located next to each other, and either one of them can be used to launch the application. Interestingly, the app icon doesn’t appear twice on home screens and in search results. This problem affects the Google Messages beta version 20250811_03_RC00 and has shown up on Pixel and Samsung devices. The code sleuths over at Android Authority dug deep…
