Tomb Raider: Catalyst Release Date
So, when does the new Tomb Raider Catalyst come out? The new Tomb Raider game is set for a release sometime in 2027. Yes, it’s quite far away, but you have to keep in mind that a lot of big releases are taking place in 2026, hence the 2027 release timeframe.
Tomb Raider: Catalyst Developer and Publisher
The new Tomb Raider game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics- the studio behind popular games such as the remastered Tomb Raider games, and Lara Croft: Guardian of the Light, just to name a few. With the success of the studio’s previous projects, fans are excited about the success of the new Tomb Raider game will have. There’s also work going on for Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, which is yet to be released.
Tomb Raider: Catalyst is being published by Amazon Games Studios, and with that being said, you can expect it to be playable via Amazon’s cloud gaming service, Amazon Luna.
Tomb Raider: Gameplay and Trailer
With information about the game, there’s not much. The developers did reveal a teaser trailer during the Game Awards show. In this teaser trailer, we get to see Lara Croft go out on a new adventure, and this time it takes place in Northern India. The adventure will be filled with ancient secrets and strange forces as Lara Croft traces to look and uncover treasures that lie hidden beneath the landscape.
You will encounter several treasure hunters who are also looking for the hidden treasure. In this chaotic adventure, Lara Croft will have to pick and choose who she needs to trust, be it the rivals or the allies.
Tomb Raider: Catalyst Supported Platforms
Developed using Unreal Engine 5, players will get to experience stunning visuals of the game world in the adventure across Northern India. While 2027 is still far away, Tomb Raider: Catalyst will be released on the following platforms:
- PlayStation 5

- Windows PC via Steam
- Xbox Series S
- Xbox Series X
