Oppo has yet to release the stable ColorOS 16 update globally. The Android 16-based update will finally begin rolling out to Oppo devices globally starting November. The smartphone brand has announced the ColorOS 16 rollout schedule, which you can check out to determine when your device will receive the update.
You may have seen a release timeline earlier, but it was for China. The global rollout schedule differs from China’s and was recently announced. According to the official list, the stable ColorOS 16 global rollout will start in early November and conclude by the first quarter of 2026.

If your device isn’t on the list, it’s unlikely to receive the latest Android 16-based ColorOS 16 update. However, if your device is on the list, it’s eligible for the update, and you can expect to see a range of new features and changes.
The rollout for listed devices begin in the mentioned month, but it may take a few weeks to reach all users globally. If your device is eligible, keep it ready for the update by installing the latest version available and maintaining enough free storage. Once the update arrives, charge your phone to at least 50%.
