The Ministry of the Digital Economy, led by Minister Augustin Kibassa Maliba, held a high-level working session with a delegation from the World Bank and the French Development Agency (AFD) to accelerate the operationalization of a $500 million digital transformation initiative in the DRC.
The discussions focused on concrete actions to make digital technology a key driver of economic growth, including migration and security of state data to strengthen digital sovereignty, establishing a government cybersecurity center to protect strategic infrastructure, and enhancing connectivity across ministries for more efficient administration.
