Gargash Group has taken a significant step in its digital transformation by partnering with Adyen, the global financial technology platform, to enhance its payment ecosystem. The collaboration, formalized during a signing ceremony on February 11 at the Mercedes-Benz Brand Center in Dubai Design District, aims to modernize payment processes across the group’s operations while improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
The first phase of the partnership saw Adyen’s payment solution implemented at Sixt UAE, a subsidiary of Gargash Group. The platform provides a seamless and secure payment experience across online, in-store, and mobile channels, handling a variety of transactions including deposits, pre-authorizations, chargebacks, refunds, fines, and toll payments. It also enables full oversight and control of all payment activities, giving employees and management a comprehensive view of transactions.
Since implementation, the new system has streamlined operations, reducing the time staff spend on repetitive payment tasks and allowing focus on higher-value work. Centralized transaction data has improved reporting accuracy, reconciliation processes, and audit capabilities, enhancing transparency, security, and accountability across operations.
This partnership aligns with Gargash Group’s broader digital agenda, which includes deploying OpenAI for enterprise use, implementing an advanced retail audit platform, expanding enterprise productivity tools, and hosting an AI hackathon for the local community. The group views the collaboration with Adyen as a strategic move to advance operational efficiency, strengthen systems, and build a scalable, data-driven ecosystem.
