Google launched the Pixel 10a in February and released it in early March, and today a video showing its disassembly has been published. We’ve embedded it below for your viewing pleasure. To get into the phone, a hair dryer or heat gun is needed to loosen the adhesive holding the back plate in place, and then it’s all smooth sailing.

The USB port is soldered onto the mainboard, unfortunately, which makes replacements complicated. On the other hand, there’s a pull pouch to help you pry the battery out, which makes the process relatively straightforward. The speaker has a mesh rubber gasket to prevent water from going in.
In the end, the Pixel 10a got an 8.5 out of 10 repairability score, where 10 would mean it’s easiest to repair and 0 would mean it’s a nightmare. The overall internal design is deemed to be very good, and the phone got maximum scores in three out of five categories: how easy it is to find replacement parts, how easy it is to replace the screen, and how easy it is to replace the battery.
It got a good but not perfect score for organization and time for repairs, and its worst score has to do with how easy it is to replace other parts, like the charger port.
