While the world’s most-awaited game, GTA VI, is a couple of months away from release, there’s always something new that pops up. This time, there’s something new that has popped up on the PlayStation Store with regard to GTA VI.
Yes, the PlayStation Store has begun displaying GTA+, a monthly subscription-based add-on for GTA that was started back in 2022 for GTA Online. Now, this might not seem like a big thing, but with the game yet to be released, the announcement of GTA+ could simply be a sign of a new announcement that Rockstar Games is going to make sooner or later.
The new appearance for the GTA+ monthly subscription has currently been spotted on the PlayStation 5 and 5 Pro consoles. This is yet to be seen on the game’s store page for the Xbox Series X|S and even Rockstar Games’ website for GTA VI.
So, is this a surprise that it will be coming to GTA Online alongside GTA VI? Not really. However, making the GTA+ subscription details go live on the PlayStation 5’s store can only mean one thing. It is possible that Rockstar has slowly begun marketing its new GTA VI game, and this could be a sign to new and existing players that GTA Online with GTA VI is going to not only be bigger than the existing GTA Online but could also play an important role in the game itself.
It could also be a small hint or sign that Rockstar Games is ready to reveal some more details about GTA VI in the coming days. We say the coming days because the Investor’s Meetings or Calls are set to be held on the 6th of November 2025, the last call for the year.
So, let’s wait and watch to see what more details Rockstar Games is ready to push out for GTA VI. Will it be the release date for PC versions of the game? New pre-orders that might slowly begin in a few months? Or will it be a brand-new trailer for the game before the final gameplay trailer for GTA VI gets dropped in 2026? Well, only time will tell.
