Samsung has released the second beta of One UI 8 for the Galaxy S24 series. The One UI 8 Beta 2 update is currently rolling out in Korea, India, and the UK. Along with various bug fixes, it also brings some new features, including the highly anticipated ones.
The first beta of One UI 8 was released two weeks ago, commencing the beta testing phase for the Galaxy S24. It introduced various changes and new features to all three devices. However, it was missing some important features that are now available in the second One UI 8 beta.
The One UI 8 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S24 series is rolling out with build version ZYHB. It weighs in at around 1GB and also includes the September 2025 Android security patch.
The One UI 8 Beta 2 update addresses a bunch of known issues on Galaxy S24 devices, which are also mentioned in the changelog. Additionally, the update introduces new features such as Audio Eraser, Call Captions, and Now brief with read aloud.

- Fixed lock screen fingerprint charging overlap issue
- Fixed the issue that only icons are displayed on the lock screen when notifications are received
- Fixed logo cutting issue in Naver Sports Top Now bar
- Fixed the issue of disabling the keyboard phrase recommendation function setting when rebooting the device
- Fixed the errors that apply basic fonts after changing fonts
- Fixed the issue where the screen stops and the lock screen is displayed while using the app
- Fixed clock widget time display error

If you own a Galaxy S24 device and are enrolled in the One UI 8 beta program, you can find the second beta in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Before installing the update, make sure to back up device data.
The Galaxy S24 series is expected to receive the stable One UI 8 update after the Galaxy S25 devices. The official One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S25 is planned for September, which means that the Galaxy S24 might receive the update in late September or early October.
