Kamal Okba has announced his return to AXIAN Group as Chief Operating Officer of AXIAN Telecom , marking a strategic leadership move during a period of significant growth for the pan-African conglomerate.
AXIAN Group, which focuses on advancing digital, financial, and energy inclusion across Africa, has expanded its footprint to over 10 countries directly, reaching more than 300 million people. Indirectly, through AXIAN Investissement, the group operates in 30 African countries.
Since its launch, AXIAN’s telecom brand Yas has made remarkable progress, climbing into the top 150 of the Brands Finance Telecom 2026 ranking and achieving a spot among the Top 20 strongest brands globally. The group attributes this success to its ambition to position itself as “Africa’s digital ally.”
