Google has released the March 2026 Pixel Feature Drop, bringing a slew of exciting new features and enhancements to eligible Pixel devices. The update has started rolling out and will reach all eligible users in the next few days or weeks.
While the latest Pixel Feature Drop introduces several new features, its primary focus lies in personalization and performance. This makes the Android feel more fluid, personalized, and interesting. Everything New in March 2026 Pixel Feature Drop
Improved Circle to Search – The Circle to Search feature can now recognize multiple objects in an image at once, making it incredibly useful for identifying outfits, plants, dishes, and more. Paired with Try It On, you can check how clothing will look on you or a model.
Offload your To-Do list – Gemini can now handle real-world tasks such as ordering groceries, booking rides, reordering your usual coffee, and more. With the help of Gemini, you can efficiently complete your To-Do list. Currently, this feature is in beta.
Magic Cue – Magic Cue integrates with chats and offers context-based suggestions such as restaurant recommendations based on your conversation, without the need to switch apps.
Generate custom icons – The new feature lets you generate icons with multiple artistic styles for your home screen using AI. There are five AI-generated styles available.
New SpongeBob Theme Packs – The new customization options include a few SpongeBob SquarePants theme packs.
Now Playing – Now Playing now have a standalone app where you can track your music history, along with the usual Music recognition feature.
Desktop Mode on Pixel phones and tablets – Pixel device connected to an external display lets you multitask with resizable multi-window support.
At a Glance widget update – You can see important updates in lock screen, such as real time transit info, live sports scores, market trends and more with At a Glance widget.
Connect with external cameras – Now you can connect your Pixel phone with a webcam, DSLR cameras, ot other Pixel phone camera via USB. This can be used for streaming or recording from different angles.
Scam detection expanded – The scam detection feature is now live in more countries, including France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Mexico, and Japan.
Call Notes in India – The call notes feature which automatically records and transcribes calls is now available in India.
Comfort Display Filters – This new color filtering mode reduces intense colors to improve viewing comfort.
Guided Frame – It now works in more languages and comes with offline support to use without internet connection.
Notification Summaries – The AI powered notification summaries is now available in Japan.
Journal App – The Journal App now comes with more AI powered features such as Reflection, Revisit topics, and more.
Pixel Watch – With the new Pixel Drop update, the Pixel phone and Pixel watch ecosystem has been improved. You will receive a Phone left behind reminder on your Watch if you leave the device behind. Also the Phone will be locked if your Watch disconnects when you’re out of range.

These are automatic updates, and you will get notification when the update is available on your device.
