Garanti BBVA, Türkiye’s leading bank in digital innovation, is introducing a groundbreaking AI-powered shopping assistant in collaboration with Mastercard. Leveraging Mastercard’s global technology, this next-generation solution will soon be available through Garanti BBVA Mobil and Bonus Flaş, enabling consumers to search, compare, and securely purchase products—all within a single platform.
This solution also marks the first end-to-end agentic commerce transaction in Türkiye’s banking vertical. The demo presentation of the solution took place at a special gathering attended by Ceren Acer Kezik, Executive Vice President of Retail Banking at Garanti BBVA; Kerem Orbay, General Manager of Garanti BBVA Payment Systems Inc.; Prakriti Singh, Executive Vice President of Core Payments for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa at Mastercard; and Onur Faydacı, General Manager of Mastercard Türkiye and Azerbaijan.
Offering a personalized and smart experience, the solution has been developed in line with security and transparency principles and was showcased with the participation of Atelier Rebul. It will soon be available to consumers through Garanti BBVA’s mobile channels.

Developed with reference to the core principles and intended objectives of Mastercard’s globally recognized Agent Pay solution, this locally engineered technology is an innovative solution providing trust, security, and visibility in digital commerce. While consumers’ AI assistants autonomously manage product discovery, price comparison, and purchasing processes, communication between the agents and the merchants takes place in line with Mastercard’s Agent Pay Acceptance Framework.
