World of Warcraft – Midnight Release Date
The new expansion to World of Warcraft was revealed to the world by Blizzard Entertainment during the 2025 Gamescom event held in August. World of Warcraft – Midnight: Gameplay
During the 2025 Gamescom event, we got a glimpse of the gameplay and what you can expect from the new expansion. The gameplay shows players the new updated Quel’thalas zone and the introduction of a brand new Eversong Woods, Zul’aman, Harandar, and the Voidstorm zone. The gameplay also shows off the brand-new Housing feature that now lets players join a neighborhood of their choice, claim a house for themselves, and customize it to their taste and liking.
The new expansion also brings a new game mechanic- Prey Hunting. This lets players hunt for various targets or have the targets come after them. There are specific targets that you need to take down, but it can be difficult as you will have to hunt for them. However, the difficulty level of fighting with your prey will increase as you progress through the game. There are several rewards for hunting down your prey, and they are in the form of cosmetic rewards. You can also earn many power-up rewards.
The new expansion also gives players a new Demon Hunter Spec called the Devourer. It uses the power of the void for mid-range attacks. The Hunters in this new expansion get to see changes in their abilities, such as the Kill Shot and Explosive Shot abilities.
