Over the weekend, we shared an article highlighting the Android 15 update scheduled by Telus for the Moto Edge 2023 in Canada. According to the carrier, the major Android update for the Moto Edge 2023 is set to begin rolling out on September 9. However, a few users in the US have already confirmed receiving the update.
In our recent Reddit post, one user confirmed that their son had already received the stable Android 15 update on his Moto Edge 2023 with Cricket Wireless in the US. Another user also confirmed receiving the same update.
This means the Android 15 update for the Moto Edge 2023 is already rolling out in the US. We haven’t received the confirmation from other regions yet. The update will also begin rolling out in Canada on September 9. If you own the Moto Edge 2023, you should receive the Android 15 update soon if you haven’t already.
As of now, we don’t have technical details about the update, such as the build number, update size, and the exact changelog. However, we can check the update details from other devices, including the Moto Edge 2022 and Moto Edge+ 2023.
The update on Moto Edge 2023 could weigh around 2GB, and you can expect it to bring various features such as the new lock screen customization options, an updated quick panel, Gen AI Emojis, new stickers, smoother graphics, and improved animations.
If you own a Moto Edge 2023, make sure to keep it ready for the update. The update is rolling out in batches, and it may take time to reach all users. If you haven’t received the update yet, the OTA will be available soon, possibly within the next few days or weeks.
The Moto Edge 2023 was released with Android 13 and has already received one major Android update. This means Android 15 is the second and probably the final update for the device.
