MTC Namibia and Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance digital connectivity between Namibia and Botswana. The agreement was formalized yesterday in Gaborone and aims to strengthen regional digital infrastructure.
Under the MOU, the two parties will collaborate on cross-border fibre interconnection, capacity exchange, IP transit, and initiatives to drive digital transformation. The partnership will also reinforce the critical Buitepos-Ngoma corridor, improving network resilience and reducing latency for users across both countries.
