Samsung is on a roll with the One UI 8 rollout in Korea. This week, the tech giant has released the stable One UI 8 for various Galaxy models. Galaxy A54 and Galaxy A34 are now the latest phones to receive the stable One UI 8 update in Korea.
All the recent update releases are currently limited to Korea, but they are expected to expand to more regions in the next few days. To find out when the One UI 8 will be available in your region for your device, you can refer to the One UI 8 global release timeline.
The stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A34 is rolling out with build version EYI7, while the update for the Galaxy A54 is available with build version EYI5. Initially, the update for the Galaxy A54 is only available to beta users, but it will likely be made available to non-beta users as early as in a few hours.
Both the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 are eligible for four Android upgrades, with the Android 16 being their third upgrade. This means both devices will also be eligible for the Android 17 update.
The One UI 8 brings a handful of interesting features and changes to both the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54. These features include an adaptive lock screen clock, improved split-screen view, better display support in Samsung DeX, easier file sharing with Quick Share, Dynamic Lock screen, hide apps in secure folder, updated stock apps, improved animations, and more.
The Android 16-based One UI 8 update is being rolled out in batches for both the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54. If you own either of these models, you’ll receive the latest One UI release through OTA update. You can manually check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
If you’ve any pending updates on your device, you first need to install them before you can install One UI 8.
