A couple of days ago some images leaked purportedly showing the upcoming Oppo Find X9 Ultra with a telephoto extender, but those only showed the device’s front.
Today a new leak purportedly brings us our first look at its back, and it’s definitely an interesting design that clearly wants to instantly make you think of digital cameras. Note that these aren’t leaked images, they’re allegedly created based on the design (with the help of AI, most likely).
As you can see, the gigantic camera island is a circle that takes up almost the entirety of the rear’s horizontal axis, while the back itself seems to be made from two separate materials – metal, perhaps in an unibody construction with the frame, and something that looks like it could be some faux leather variant aimed to increase grip when shooting.

The source of these images claims there will also be a classic looking option with a glass back. The Find X9 Ultra is rumored to sport a 6.82-inch QHD+ flat AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, and a 7,300 mAh battery.
The main camera will use Sony’s Lytia 901 1/1.12-inch type sensor, and there will also be a 50MP ultrawide using Samsung’s ISOCELL JN5 sensor. Two telephoto cameras will be on offer: a 200MP 3x optical zoom camera using a 1/1.28-inch type OmniVision sensor, and a 50MP 10x optical zoom shooter using Sony’s Lytia 600 sensor. The aforementioned telephoto extender delivers 13.2x from the 200MP sensor. Finally, selfies will be taken care of by a 50MP snapper.
