The Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update is now rolling out globally for the Poco F6 Pro. The latest major release delivers several enhancements, new features, and bug fixes. Interestingly, Xiaomi has pushed this update to the Poco F6 Pro before the newer Poco F7.
Many users have confirmed receiving the official HyperOS 3 update on the Poco F6 Pro. The update is available with build number 3.0.4.0.WNKMIXM, which confirms the global build. It weighs 7.1GB in size.
The update is not only big in size but also introduces a plethora of new features and changes. It includes improved animations, a new control center, new icons, revamped user interface, Xiaomi Hyperland (dynamic island), touch to share, enhanced lock screen customization, improved performance, and more.
If you own the Poco F6 Pro, you can check for the update in the settings. If you don’t see an update, it might take a few days because the updates are gradually rolled out in batches. Make sure to take a backup of your data before installing the new update.
The Poco F6 Pro was released with the Android 14 update, making Android 16 the second major update for the device. Since the device is eligible for a total of three major upgrades, it will also receive Android 17 and the next HyperOS update.
