After releasing One UI 8.5 Beta 7 for the Galaxy S25 series earlier today, Samsung has now expanded the One UI 8.5 Beta program to the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The first One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is now live in Korea and India, and it may expand to other regions soon.
This is the second Samsung device to receive the One UI 8.5 Beta. As rumored, a few other Galaxy devices may also join the beta program soon. However, the beta is expected to be limited to only a small number of devices.
The One UI 8.5 Beta for Galaxy Z Fold 7 is available with build number ZZC5 in both regions. Ensure you have over 8GB of storage on your Galaxy Z Fold 7, as the update is over 4GB in size. Download the update over WiFi.
One UI 8.5 is a big update that introduces several new features and improvements to the device. These include a fully customizable Quick Panel, four new connectivity features, new privacy protection features, notifications summaries, and AI-powered features such as Photo Assist, Smarter device control, Meeting Assist, Smart Clipboard, and more.
If you own a Galaxy Z Fold 7 and want to experience the One UI 8.5 before others, you can easily join the beta program once it becomes available in your region. To do so, update or install the Samsung Members app and open it. Check for the One UI 8.5 Beta banner, which may also be available in the Notices section. Tap on it and register for the program after reviewing its details.
You will receive the One UI 8.5 Beta update immediately and can install it from Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. It’s recommended to back up your data before installing the new beta update.
