Samsung is accelerating the rollout of the stable One UI 8 update. In the past two weeks Samsung has commenced the stable One UI 8 rollout for several eligible models. Galaxy F36 is now the latest device to receive the Android 16-based official One UI 8 update.
The One UI 8 update for the Galaxy F36 is currently rolling out in India and will soon be available in other regions. This update comes with build number E366BXXU2BYI4 and weighs over 2GB in size. Additionally, it raises the security patch level to September. With this update release, we can expect that other F series models will receive One UI 8 in the coming days or weeks.
One UI 8 is an interesting major update that takes the One UI experience to the next level. It not only includes major improvements but also various new features such as the adaptive lock screen clock, improved split-screen view, better display support in Samsung DeX, easier file sharing with Quick Share, Dynamic Lock screen, hide apps in secure folder, updated stock apps, improved animations, and more.
The stable One UI 8 update for the Galaxy F36 is rolling out in batches and may take a few days to reach all users. If you own a Galaxy F36, make sure to check for the update by going to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Since this is a big 2GB+ update, you might need to use WiFi for downloading the update.
