Samsung has been consistently rolling out the stable One UI 8 update since last month, and it has already been rolled out for various models. Now, the company has extended the One UI 8 update to six more Galaxy phones.
The official One UI 8 update is now being rolled out to the Galaxy M15, Galaxy M33, Galaxy M53, Galaxy F56, Galaxy F34, and Galaxy F16. The Android 16-based One UI 8 update is available to the mentioned models with the following build numbers and regions:
- Galaxy M15 – M156SKSU5CYI6 (Korea)
- Galaxy M53 – M536SKSUBGYI4 (Korea)
- Galaxy F56 – E566BXXU3BYI6 (India)
- Galaxy M33 – M336KKSUBGYI4 (Korea)
- Galaxy F16 – E166PXXU3CYI9 (India)
- Galaxy F34 – E346BXXU8EYI8 (India)
The One UI 8 is a major update for these budget and mid-range Galaxy phones, which weighs around 2GB or even more. So, make sure to download the update over WiFi.
The big update introduces a variety of new features, including the new Adaptive lock screen clock, improved split-screen view, better display support in Samsung DeX, easier file sharing with Quick Share, Dynamic Lock screen, hide apps in secure folder, updated stock apps, improved animations, and more.
If you own one of these Galaxy models and the One UI 8 update is live in your region, the update will be available via OTA. However, since the rollout is happening in batches, it might take a few weeks to reach all users. You can check for the update in Settings > Software Update > Download and Install.
Before installing the update, take a back up of your phone. Also, to avoid any major issues, ensure your device is at normal temperature before starting the installation process.
