Samsung’s Galaxy A57 is set to launch today alongside the Galaxy A37 but both phones have been the subject of countless leaks including online store listings and even hands-on video reviews. The latest addition is a full teardown video for the A57, which ended up in the hands of PBKreviews.
The teardown procedure is fairly straightforward and begins with the usual steps of removing the SIM tray and heating up the glass back to loosen its adhesive. From there, the main internals are held in by 18 Phillips screws. Removing a few more screws and connector cables frees up the mainboard, which houses the triple cameras on one end and the chipset and other key components on the back.
Just like the leaks predicted, A57 brings a 12MP ultrawide cam alongside a 50MP main shooter with OIS in the middle, and a 5MP macro cam below that. We can also see the chipset, which is none other than Samsung’s Exynos 1680 (E8865).

More importantly, the A57’s 5,000mAh battery is held in via an adhesive pouch, which will make battery replacements that much easier. The phone’s vapor chamber is hidden below the battery, and it is a fair bit larger than the one on the Galaxy A56, which should help keep thermals in check. In the end, Galaxy A57 earns a 9/10 repairability score.
