Samsung recently announced that it’s been working on a beta release of Samsung Internet for PC, which brings its first-party mobile browser to desktop computers. The company says that it’s aiming to give users a seamless and more connected browsing experience across different Samsung Galaxy devices, in addition to the development of an “ambient AI” ecosystem.
Samsung Internet on PC allows users to sync browsing data including bookmarks and history, and even autofill login details via Samsung Pass. Users will also be able to resume browsing instantly when switching between mobile devices and a PC; Samsung has also included built-in Galaxy AI capabilities like Browsing Assist which add a bit of versatility in addition to web browsing.
The browser also includes Smart anti-tracking and a Privacy Dashboard to allow users to keep an eye on their data. The beta is available starting October 30, 2025 in the US and Korea for users on Windows 11 and Windows 10. Won-Joon Choi, Chief Operating Officer of the Mobile eXperience (MX) Business at Samsung Electronics comments:
As we expand Samsung Internet to PC, we’re excited to invite users to shape the future of browsing with us… This beta program unlocks a more connected experience across mobile and PC, while setting the stage for more intelligent browsing experiences to come. Looking ahead, Samsung Internet’s capabilities will redefine how users interact with the web, evolving from a PC browser that waits for input to an integrated AI platform that understands users while protecting personal data at every level.
