The AfCFTA Secretariat , in partnership with Quest Ghana Limited and the government of the Republic of Seychelles, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance Seychelles’ digital economy and digital trade under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).
The collaboration is designed to position Seychelles as a competitive hub for digital trade, enabling businesses to engage more effectively in the digital economy. The initiative will focus on creating a secure, seamless, and interoperable framework for cross-border digital transactions, promoting system and platform interoperability, supporting micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in accessing the AfCFTA market, and enhancing regulatory cooperation and innovation.
