SMART Zambia Institute has officially commenced the Digital Skills Training of Trainers Programme at the Zambia University College of Technology in Ndola. The initiative aims to strengthen digital inclusion nationwide by equipping ICT trainers with essential skills in digital literacy, cybersecurity, device management, and digital finance.
The programme will train 80 ICT trainers, who will in turn help enhance digital capacity across Zambia’s public sector and broader communities. By building a pool of skilled digital trainers, SMART Zambia seeks to improve public service delivery, foster innovation, and accelerate the adoption of digital tools and technologies across the country.
