Saudi telecom operator stc has partnered with Huawei KSA to roll out Self-Optimized Networks (SON), marking a significant step in the Kingdom’s ongoing digital transformation and network modernization.
The collaboration introduces advanced automation, real-time adaptability, and AI-driven intelligence into stc’s network operations, enhancing service quality and operational efficiency. The initiative positions SON as a key enabler of network service optimization, supporting next-generation telecom innovation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Ahsen Ali, National Manager of Huawei’s Service Optimization Team, emphasized the milestone as a reflection of shared commitment to accelerating digital transformation in the region. The project also received contributions from Yahya Al-Gaihiab and Fahad Badeghaish, MBA, who played pivotal roles in its implementation.
The deployment of SON underscores the growing role of AI and automation in telecom networks, promising smarter, faster, and more adaptable services for consumers and businesses across Saudi Arabia.
