With modern Android phones having become more powerful in the last half decade, we’re starting to see more and more AAA console games get ported for smaller screens, as seen with the recent mobile port of Red Dead Redemption. That said, another major console release is set to arrive for smartphones, courtesy of the folks over at Feral Interactive.
We’re of course referring to the upcoming port of Tomb Raider, the 2013 reboot of the action-adventure franchise. The game was teased earlier today by Feral Interactive, and will have reworked touch controls for mobile devices, along with a one-time payment option without any ads or additional IAPs. This isn’t the first time that Feral Interactive has brought Lara Croft’s adventures to Android users however, as the studio previously worked on porting over “Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light” to Android and iOS earlier on. The studio has also worked on other visually-impressive games such as GRID Autosport and GRID Legends, Hitman: Blood Money Reprisal, and XCOM 2 Collection, giving them the full mobile gaming treatment.
