Lenovo, once a popular smartphone brand, has shifted its focus to a smaller lineup of tablets. However, the company is keeping up with software updates and has started releasing the Android 16 update along with an official rollout schedule.
Android 16 is the latest release for Android devices, which has been released for several devices in the past few months. Lenovo has also entered the race and has already begun rolling out the update for a few of its devices.

You might be wondering why there are only tablets on the list. Well, Lenovo hasn’t released a smartphone in the last few years, and older smartphones are no longer eligible for major Android updates. Keep in mind that this doesn’t include Motorola devices, which are also owned by Lenovo.
If your device is on the list, it will receive the major update. Expect some delay from Lenovo, which has been the case in the last few years. If your Lenovo device is scheduled to receive the update in 2025, it’s not guaranteed that it will be released on time. It could even be delayed by a month or two.
Once you get the update, don’t forget to back up your device before installing the update.
