vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone in India called the Y51 Pro 5G. The handset succeeds the vivo Y31 Pro 5G, which debuted in September last year. The new model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset and packs a 7,200mAh battery.
The vivo Y51 Pro 5G comes with a 6.75-inch LCD display that offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and an HD+ resolution.
The Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset can be configured with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage.
It packs a 7,200mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. The phone also offers IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. It runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out-of-the-box.

The vivo Y51 Pro 5G features a dual-rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP depth unit. For selfies and video calls, the handset gets an 8MP camera.
It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and dual SIM.

The phone measures 7.8mm in thickness and weighs 219g. It is available in Festive Red and Noble Gold colors.
As for pricing, the vivo Y51 Pro 5G starts at INR 24,999 ($270) for the 8GB/128GB model. Meanwhile, the 8GB/256GB option is INR 27,999 ($305).
