Xiaomi launched the Pad 8 Pro in China last September, and if you’ve been wondering whether it will get a global release ever since, we have some great news.
The global version of the tablet has been spotted in the Geekbench database with the model number 25091RP04G. That “G” at the end confirms that this is in fact the model meant for markets outside of China.
As you can see from the screenshot above, the tablet managed a single-core score of 2,940 and a multi-core score of 8,759 in Geekbench 6.5. Like the Chinese variant, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The prototype running the benchmark had 8GB of RAM, which in China is the base level, going up to 16GB.
It’s unclear if the international Pad 8 Pro will be 100% identical to its Chinese counterpart, but if it is, then expect it to boast an 11.2″ IPS LCD screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness, up to 512GB of storage, a 50MP rear camera, a 32MP front camera, and a 9,200 mAh battery with support for 67W wired charging. It will run Android 16 with HyperOS 3 on top.
The logical point for its introduction is at the same event where the Xiaomi 17 Ultra will make its global debut. If history repeats itself, this will take place in Barcelona, Spain, a day or two before MWC starts on March 2.
