If you use Fitbit hardware and software to track your fitness, then you might want to check your app for a handful of new features. Fitbit recently announced that it’s rolling out a suite of new wellness tools for users, in addition to expanded feature availability for non-Premium members.
As such, the update comes with the addition of Cycle Health, which allows users to log symptoms and periods directly from their calendar, while Premium subscribers gain access to specialized cycle insights. Mental health tracking also receives an update with the ability to log mindfulness sessions and moods. This is paired with Resilience, an updated stress management score designed to help users better understand how their bodies react to daily pressures.
Nutrition management has been streamlined through new Nutrition and Water Logging features, which gives users access to set calorie targets, hydration tracking, and meal logs with the added flexibility of personalized macronutrient ranges.
Additionally, Fitbit is now allowing users without a Premium membership to join the Public Preview, granting them access to core health, fitness, and sleep tracking features. Premium subscribers will continue to retain exclusive access to advanced experiences, including the Ask Coach feature and fully customized fitness plans.
