It goes without saying that Facebook marketplace has become one of the more popular online selling platforms due to its ease of use and accessibility, and it looks like Meta is looking to capitalize on this even further. That said, the Facebook parent company has now officially launched “Seller,” a dedicated app designed for users and small businesses operating on Facebook Marketplace.
The app’s arrival coincides with the tenth anniversary of Facebook Marketplace, and brings new features to sellers by way of AI-powered listing creation, inventory management, a unified inbox, and performance analytics into a more consolidated central hub.
Meta says that Seller automatically syncs with a user’s existing Facebook Marketplace account, carrying over active listings, buyer message threads, all the way to sales history. Any new listings created within the app are automatically posted to Facebook Marketplace, and standard selling directly through the primary Facebook app remains unchanged.

Seller also comes with several targeted tools for faster workflow, including analyzing uploaded photos to generate listing titles, descriptions, category placements, and pricing suggestions, and even a bulk-listing feature for high-volume inventory. There’s also a main dashboard which shows pending orders, urgent buyer inquiries, and items due for repricing, alongside an integrated analytics suite that tracks item views, clicks, and sales trends.
Seller is available now on the App Store for users in the United States aged 18 and older, with a later release set for Android users.
