We’ve got Netflix ready to premiere the extended look of Grand Theft Auto VI before GTA VI. Yes, you’ve read that right! Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have teamed up with the world’s largest streaming service, Netflix, to bring an extensive first look at the biggest game of the year.
This is big news considering no other game developer or studio has taken to a streaming service to promote their games. Looks like Rockstar Games is pulling out its big guns to market the game that is releasing this November for the new-generation Xbox and PlayStation consoles.
We recently covered a story where a popular video game insider revealed that Rockstar Games is expected to make a few reveals about the game in August. Just shy of a week from the announcement, we’ve now got an official announcement for the extended look for the game.
So, when does this big event take place? Well, fans of the GTA franchise will be able to stream the extended look for GTA VI via Netflix on the 27th of August. Rockstar Games has published a mini-trailer about the extended look.
The extended look for the game will go live at 3 PM ET. Now, if you don’t have an active subscription to Netflix, there’s no problem. Rockstar Games has revealed that the extended look video will also go live on their YouTube channel and the GTA VI dedicated website, but at a later time, i.e., 9 PM on the 27th of August.
So, are you excited that Rockstar Games is finally going to push out the gameplay footage for this most-awaited game of the year? Moreover, have you pre-ordered the game for your console, or are you waiting for Rockstar Games to announce when the game will be available for PC?
