A little over a week after debuting its Galaxy S26 Ultra Enterprise Edition, Samsung has seemingly also introduced a corporate-exclusive version of the Galaxy S26. The more notable bit is that we’re seeing two versions of the S26 Enterprise Edition, with one featuring 256GB storage and retailing for £899 and a second option with 128GB storage with a retail price of £660. The 128GB storage version is pretty weird considering the regular Galaxy S26 starts with 256GB storage. The £239 lower starting price is pretty noteworthy too, but it’s still not a regular phone that you can just buy as…

Apple is allergic to nostalgia. In 2008, when the Macintosh was about to turn 25, I mentioned it to Steve Jobs and he instantly shut down the discussion. “If you look backward in this business, you’ll be crushed,” he told me icily. “You have to look forward.” Now that Apple’s 50th anniversary looms, however, the company is begrudgingly engaging in a series of concerts and commemorations, and we’re being blitzed by books, articles, and oral histories of the company’s early years.Rather than join the crowded trek down memory lane, I asked Apple to do what Jobs suggested—look forward. What does…

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is here, and for yet another year, we get a rather modest upgrade over the previous generation. And at this point, it has become an age-old question: should you go for the newer Galaxy or the older Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will do just fine? With Samsung’s long software support promise of 7 years of OS upgrades and security patches, the latest generation has one fewer advantage over the older one, so even if you choose to go for the S25 Ultra, you won’t be missing out on important software upgrades. Despite the lack of…

Then there’s the cost. Alcor charges $80,000 to store a person’s brain, and around $220,000 to store a whole body. Tomorrow.Bio’s charges are slightly higher. Many people, including Kendziorra himself, opt to cover this cost via a life insurance policy. Perhaps the main reason people don’t opt for cryonic preservation is that we don’t have any way to bring people back. Bedford has been in storage for more than 50 years, Coles for more than a decade. All the scientists I’ve spoken to say the likelihood of reanimating remains like theirs is vanishingly small. The fact that the possibility—however tiny—is above zero…
